Permanent Makeup (PMU) is a cosmetic treatment in which pigment is subtly applied to the skin to enhance the natural beauty of the face. It provides more definition, balance, and a polished appearance without the need to apply makeup every day.

The Healing Process

Please keep in mind that Permanent Makeup requires time and patience.

Immediately after the treatment

The skin may appear red, slightly swollen, and darker in color than the final result. This is because the pigments are still fresh and the skin has not yet begun the healing process.

The first week

In the days after the treatment, a light scab may form on the skin. These scabs will fall off naturally. It is very important not to touch or remove them yourself, as this can disrupt the healing process and affect pigment retention.

Color changes in the first weeks

During the first 6 weeks, the colors may vary. On some days, the result may appear darker or lighter; sometimes it may even seem as if the pigment has disappeared. These fluctuations are normal and occur because the skin is still healing.

Result after 6 weeks

After about 6 weeks, the skin is fully healed and the final result becomes visible. At that time, a touch-up treatment is also carried out. Every skin heals differently, and it may happen that some areas have retained less pigment than others. No need to worry, as during the touch-up we perfect the final result.

Official final result

You have had the touch-up treatment; this is the second and final treatment. After this, the skin needs another 6 weeks to fully heal. Only then will you see the official final result. If you feel that an additional touch-up is needed afterward, we can always schedule it.

It is important to remember that we cannot treat you again before 6 weeks have passed, as the skin is still in the healing phase. We recommend being patient and allowing the skin enough time to recover properly.

In the meantime, it is very important to take good care of your new PMU and carefully follow the aftercare instructions to achieve the best possible result.

Aftercare instructions:

  • Do not scratch or pick at any scabs or flakes (if they form).
  • Avoid sunlight and tanning beds for 4 weeks.
  • Avoid swimming pools, saunas, and spas for 4 weeks.
  • Do not wet the treated area for 7 days.
  • Do not apply makeup to the treated area for 7 days.
  • Do not engage in sports for 4 days if it causes excessive sweating on the face.
  • Do not smoke for 1 hour (only after a lip treatment).
  • Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes (only after a lip treatment).
  • Avoid spicy foods for 24 hours (only after a lip treatment).
